For the 2.5 million + visitors we have to Hilton Head Island each year, the Island’s over 60 miles of public pathways are an oasis of transportation. A way to get out of the car and find your way to a restaurant or beach park via pathway. But for many visitors, that just isn’t enough. They want to know the real Hilton Head Island, the parts that locals love and enjoy year round – so here you are! And you’ll see my favorites too. As any visitor to Hilton Head Island can attest, our Lowcountry days are jam-packed with things to see and do. Golfing, biking, tennis, beach days, hiking, picnics...the list goes on and on. Bring flip flops when you go to the beach on Hilton Head Island. The shores are sugar sand firm. Your bare feet may soon grumble, for this seashore is about as solid as pavement. Sea Turtle Season is Here
From early May through October, Hilton Head Island becomes a welcome place for sea turtles as they nest along our shores.
