In this free talk, Author and Historian Cheryl Oliver will discuss the roles women played in the Revolutionary War in South Carolina. A Virginia native, Cheryl Oliver has written 7 historical non-fiction books. A graduate of Marymount University, she is a member of the National Genealogical Association, DAR, UDC, in process with Colonial Dames, and was invited to join the Descendants of Jamestown, VA. She is currently working on a book about all the men behind the designing, building, training, and sailing of the H. L. Hunley.
