Our event begins with a raptor demonstration with Lila Arnold and her amazing birds of prey and features music by Calibogue Sound; bird tours of Mitchelville; The Boys and Girls Club’s 3-D printer critters; exhibits by Outside Foundation and Sea Turtle Patrol; nature and bird artwork; Gullah-Geechee Cuisine and Mother Smoking Good’s food trucks; and Binya’s Gullah and Lowcountry wares.
Bring your binoculars, wear comfortable footwear and water. Prepare for a memorable day connecting with nature and history at this special Juneteenth celebration. This event is free, but please register online. Please park at Cherry Hill School at the corner of Dillion and Beach City Road Hilton Head, South Carolina. Free shuttles will be available from the parking area to Historic Mitchellville Freedom Park.
