HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. LAUNCHES NEW NATIONAL DESTINATION MARKETING CAMPAIGN
The multi-sensory campaign invites travelers to explore the leading island vacation destination through sight and sound, spotlighting Hilton Head Island’s pristine backdrop and commitment to sustainability
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C (Monday, Sept. 29) – Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
(www.hiltonheadisland.org/naturally-your-favorite) unveils its new brand campaign, Naturally Your Favorite, which aims to enhance the destination’s commitment to sustainable tourism while engaging both loyal and new visitors who value the Lowcountry’s delicate ecosystem.
On the heels of eight consecutive wins as the Best Domestic Island in Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards, the campaign will roll out across web, email, social, and audio platforms – including Spotify podcast ads – featuring authentic island sounds, from the soothing crash of ocean waves to the rhythmic pop of pickleball rallies and soundtrack of native wildlife.
“Everything Hilton Head Island offers is shaped by nature; from the gentle shores that provide the nesting Loggerhead Sea Turtle with a safe place to hatch its young, to the rolling lush views of our world-class golf courses that overlook the Port Royal Sound,” says Vice President of Marketing Ariana Pernice. “The preserved, natural beauty of this place is why people live here, work here, and come to visit us season after season, year after year, generation after generation. And this is what we want to celebrate.”
Hilton Head Island has championed sustainability since its inception as the nation’s first eco-planned community, a legacy that continues to shape its future. In fact, the island is a proud member of Audubon International since 2010 and was recognized in 2017 as South Carolina’s first public Audubon International Sustainable Community – a testament to the destination’s commitment to wildlife and land preservation.
With nearly two-thirds of residents recognizing tourism’s role in the local economy, visitors are drawn repeatedly to its idyllic beaches, diverse ecosystems, and locally sourced cuisine, reinforcing the importance of responsible, sustainable travel.
“Our role as custodians of the destination’s brand is to authentically share our pride and the beauty of Hilton Head Island with our best guests,” says CEO Bill Miles. “I believe Naturally Your Favorite is the perfect embodiment of this message and one the entire community can rally behind. By attracting the right visitor, we’re doing our part to support the local businesses, operators, hotels, and restaurants that contribute to the very fabric of Hilton Head Island.”
