Snow Day Is Back On Hilton Head Island!

A family friendly event that the my friends and I look forward to each year, Snow Day 2013 will kick off this Saturday, January 26th from 11-4 at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. Sponsored by Hilton Head Chrysler-Ram-Jeep-Dodge to benefit The Island Rec Center Scholarship Fund, Snow Day offers kids and adults the opportunity to play in a massive field of man-made snow using the same equipment you would find at a major ski resort!

Just $10 per child ages 2-17, parents are free, Snow Day will also have a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! There will also be bouncy houses, food for sale, beer & wine for the parents and an area for little ones to play on their own.

Gray (2 years)  is just now getting old enough to enjoy an event like this and Joe and I are so excited to take him – it’s going to be a frenzy of kids and snow!  Also, the mall demolition is happening right next to the park, so we will be able to show him the giant real-life construction trucks!  Hope to see y’all there!
