Pastels & Pinots with Susan Mayfield, October Artist in Residence

Join acclaimed visiting artist Susan Mayfield for an afternoon of inspiration and instruction on capturing the beauty of the Lowcountry sunset through the vibrant medium of pastels. Paint alongside Susan as she shares her insights and experiences with landscape principles and provides tips on accurately capturing light and color. Attendees will also enjoy a wine tasting by Palmetto Bluff's Boundary Bottle Shop team to help the creative juices flow! All supplies will be provided. Limited to 12 attendees.

Susan Mayfield is an award-winning artist known for using bold color and luminous light in her pastel and oil landscapes. A native South Carolinian and life-long resident of the Lowcountry, she moved to Colorado 15 years ago, splitting her time between life on the Carolina coast and her home in the high mountain desert of Colorado. Currently, she paints and teaches from her studio in the small mountain town of Salida, CO.
