Guided cemetery tour exploring local Revolutionary-era stories and the human side of conflict in the Lowcountry.

Katie Epps will lead attendees through some of the property's fascinating burial grounds while highlighting the landmarks, events and unforgettable stories of the Revolutionary War in the Lowcountry. After light food and drink, Epps and Archaeological Technician Zoe Klauck, will conduct a brief overview of Palmetto Bluff's later history, from the Civil War through the early 20th century, followed by the tour of relevant sites throughout Palmetto Bluff, with rest and refreshments in between.

To find out about Palmetto Bluff's surprising past, and those who lived there during the Revolutionary War, please join Katie Epps on April 13, 2026, from 9 AM - 12 PM. Light refreshments will be provided, and long pants and closed-toe shoes are required as the walk will include areas of uneven terrain. This special event costs $40 per person and proceeds will be used for cemetery restoration work in Palmetto Bluff cemeteries.
