2026 Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival
Location: Harbour Town 149 Lighthouse Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Maps & DirectionsThe Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival returns for the 8th year on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 1:00-4:00 pm on the lawn adjacent to the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town at The Sea Pines Resort.
The family-friendly event will feature all-you-can-eat shrimp prepared by local chefs, craft beer from more than a dozen breweries, live music, kids' activities, and specialty vendors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island.
Shrimp are a pillar of the South Carolina economy and food culture, appearing on almost every menu on Hilton Head Island. Local fishermen and women haul in between one and two million pounds of these crustaceans each year, and thanks to sustainable initiatives and practices, the long-term health of this coastal environment is safeguarded against overfishing.
"Our culinary team launched the shrimp celebration to showcase our locally sourced shrimp -- one of the region's most valued natural resources," said Matt Roher, Director of Food and Beverage at The Sea Pines Resort. "Over the years, the event has evolved into a vibrant festival featuring craft breweries and talented Lowcountry chefs, each adding a creative twist to local shrimp dishes."
Early-bird admission (June 15-July 31) for guests 21 and older is $65. Tickets for guests younger than 21 (or non-drinkers) are $45. Children 8 and younger receive free admission. Regular prices take effect on August 1 and are $79 for guests 21 and older, $59 for guests younger than 21 (or non-drinkers), and children 8 and under are free.
Shuttle service is available to all Shrimp Fest attendees. Parking will be available in Lot 1, and shuttles will drop off guests in Harbour Town beginning at 12:30 pm.
