Calling all foodies! The 12th Annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival is a family-friendly, week-long culinary and cultural celebration showcasing the very best in savory eats, crafted cocktails, gourmet wines and more. Over the course of seven days, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy dishes prepared by celebrity guest chefs, barbecue from some of the best of Southern pitmasters, hands-on cooking demos, eclectic tastings, live music and much more!

Each February, passionate seafood, barbeque and spirits lovers descend on Hilton Head Island for the area’s largest culinary festival of its kind. This year, the festival will welcome some of the finest award-wining chefs, local culinary stars, celebrated winemakers and brewmasters to breathtaking waterside venues February 18-24, 2019.

Lowcountry Seafood Experiences on the Water


A two hour excursion that includes instruction on shrimping, oystering, clamming, and crabbing with a couple of the Lowcountry’s foremost watermen, Captain Christopher and Matthew Shoemaker. Christopher and Matthew will demonstrate the skills required to “put food on the table.” After the work is done, guests will enjoy the fruits of their labor at Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks. Times might vary based on tide and weather conditions.

$69 per person includes a complimentary soft beverage or draft beer at the restaurant. Limited availability.

Pitmaster 101: Whole Hog Preparation and the Secret Sauce

Learn from the best of the best! While our guest pitmaster Bryan Furman of B's Cracklin' BBQ prepares for the upcoming Pig Pickin’ & Oyster Roast event, you will learn techniques and get to taste a preview of what’s to come. This is a limited class-size event.

Award-winning James Beard Foundation Chefs offer the ultimate culinary tour de force at Hilton Head Island's Out of the Ocean Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 6:00 PM hosted by the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort at The Shorehouse.

The James Beard Foundation's Celebrity Chef Tour dinner series brings a taste of what happens at the James Beard House in New York City to our Island home. One-night-only, multi-course, line-to-table dinner with wine pairings featuring a diverse group of James Beard Foundation Award winners and nominees. Truly an extraordinary evening for this premier seafood event!

Your ticket includes the ultimate experience, our patrons will enjoy a "Meet & Greet" Champagne Reception from 6:00 - 7:00 PM with the chefs and sommeliers joining us for the evening. Get up close and personal with some of the true experts in the culinary and beverage world. This event has very limited ticket availability.

In celebrating our chefs, respectful dress contributes to the ambience, while their is no official dress code for this event, we do recommend professional or cocktail attire.

Pig Pickin’ + Oyster Roast

Join us for the quintessential, Lowcounty family-style culinary celebration, as the Island’s best chefs, celebrity guest chefs and Pitmasters prepare local shrimp, whole hogs, whole chickens, chopped BBQ and all the side dish trimmings at Waddell Mariculture Center. Wash it all down with brews, wines and signature cocktails and live music.

Held at Honey Horn Plantation, the family friendly headlining event features area restaurants and chefs serving up seafood specialties and other tasty cuisine, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, expanded kids activities, David M. Carmines Foundation Silent Auction, Beer Garden, Artisan Market, Celebrity Chef and Mixology Demonstrations and more. Featured Restaurants include Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks, The Crazy Crab, Red Fish, Old Oyster Factory, Darren Clark's Tavern, Fish Seafood & Raw Bar, Fishcamp on Broad Creek, Carolina Crab Company, SERG Restaurant Group, Alexander's Restaurant & Wine Bar, Calhoun Street Tavern, Red Truck Bakery and more! Live music by Deas-Guyz from Noon to 4:00 pm. Free Admission to Children under 10 years of age.  Tickets are $8.00 per person (age 10 and older) until December 31, 2018 at 11:59PM, $9.00 per person (age 10 and older) from January 1 through January 31, 2019 at 11:59 PM and $10.00 per person (age 10 and older) from February 1 through February 23, 2019 at 5:00 PM. There is NO additional cost for parking at Honey Horn Plantation. 

The VIP Lounge will offer a limited numbers of tickets for 2019. The lounge was the ultimate experience last year and completely sold out well in advance.  The VIP Lounge ticket will include the following: access to the VIP Lounge area from 11:00am - 5:00pm, catered gourmet experience courtesy of Publix and complementary beverages at the private bar including beer, wine and signature cocktails.
