Sea Turtle Nest in Hilton Head Dedicated to Craig Melvin’s Family

Between Lowcountry sunsets and whiskey smooth silences, Hilton Head Island reminded me how to be still and why it matters.

115 baby turtles hatched and made it to the water from the Melvin Family nest. 

Sometimes people underestimate the beauty of traveling with a parent — I know I did, until recently. My family has always traveled, but this trip to Hilton Head was different.
