Crescendo: Celebrating Arts, Culture & History

 

The 2022 Crescendo Celebration features a plethora of unique arts and cultural programs, concerts, theatrical productions, museum and gallery exhibits, lectures, poetry readings, dance performances, historical tours, hands-on arts experiences, and educational offerings which are estimated to attract more than 10,000 people from all over the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe.

Kicking off October 9th the program will amaze and excite attendees until the curtains close on November 12th, 2022. Several marquee events are planned including performances, parties and the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival.

 

New to Crescendo this Year:  Song writer Series in the Park

Join us in Lowcountry Celebration Park each Thursday during Crescendo from 5-7 for a free concert by a local band that writes their own original music.

Symphonic Pops in the Park at Lowcountry Celebration Park

The Coastal Discovery Museum invites you to come see the art of Chantelle Rytter up close. The artist behind the hugely successful Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade, as well as Hilton Head’s own lantern parade, Rytter has been creating joy through her art in communities for 20 years. The museum is pleased to show the full spectrum of her work, including one-of-a kind lanterns, puppets, drawings, sketchbooks, photographs, and other ephemera.
