The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is about 45 miles (72km) south of the island just over the Georgia border in Savannah, GA. Allegiant, American, Avelo, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Silver Airways, Southwest, Sun Country, and United offer nonstop service to 34 destinations. 

Hilton Head Island Airport is located approximately 5 miles (8km) from all Hilton Head Island resorts. American, Delta and United offer year-round and seasonal direct nonstop flights from eight destinations. Check with carriers for route schedules and details.

Getting Around on Hilton Head Island

There are plenty of ways to get to and around the island, once you arrive. Rent a car, book a car service, rent bikes or hop on the seasonal Hilton Head Island trolley, "The Breeze".

Getting to Hilton Head Island by Rail

Sit back, relax, and take the train! Amtrak service is available via Savannah, GA, which is a short 45-minute trip from Hilton Head Island, or via Yemassee, SC, which is just one hour from Hilton Head Island.
