In the Mood For… Restaurant Week Deals

Saturday, January 24 kicks off Hilton Head-Bluffton Chamber Restaurant Week 2015! A week dedicated to great deals and a prime opportunity to try new places and break out of your restaurant rut. The complete list, available here, is a mix of local favorites, newly opened restaurants, breakfast deals and more than a few excuses to go out to eat everyday next week.

The list of participating restaurants is long and worth exploring, but if you’re in a hurry, here are some short cuts.

So, what are you in the mood for?

Dinner with dessert?

A popular deal for restaurant week is a three-course menu featuring a starter, an entrée and a dessert. Here are some options if you’re in the mood for dinner with dessert.

Black Marlin Bayside Grill is offering key lime pie, a salted chocolate browning and (the item we’re most interested in) peach fritters served with a ginger peach compote.

Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana has a list of Italian treats that range from the traditional to the light side to the decadent. Choose from tiramisu, fresh fruit with zabaglione or chocolate panna cotta with caramelized bananas.

Ombra Cucina Rustica is not to be out done with four dessert choices. Vanilla panna cotta, cannoli, profiteroles or orange sorbet are all lovely choices to end the meal.

Coast is offering something a little different. You have the option to choose two or three courses. If dessert is one of your courses, we think the peaches & pralines cobbler sounds like the perfect sweet treat.

Stellini Italian Restaurant has two menus offering four courses, including dessert, and a glass of wine or soft drink. With tiramisu, flourless chocolate cake, cannoli or ricotta cheesecake for choices, it won’t make choosing a menu easy.

How about breakfast?

Java Burrito Company is quickly becoming an island favorite for tacos and burritos. However, their restaurant week deal is helping make the most important meal of the day a little more exciting. Go get breakfast and receive a free locally roasted coffee or 10% off a specialty coffee drink.

In the mood for a trip to Bluffton?  Check out the four-course meal at May River Grill for a Low Country-centric seafood menu.

Another popular choice is Neo, which is serving its local fare like cornmeal-fried oysters and chicken pot pie, in a three-course menu.

If you’re headed out to Palmetto Bluff, check out Buffalo’s quick and easy menu. They are serving a two-course menu of an entrée and dessert.

The Old Town Dispensary is offering a three-course menu with a little more of a casual flair. We’re thinking that BLT burger is worth an evening out in downtown Bluffton.

Chamber Restaurant Week is a great way to try new restaurants and broaden your foodie horizons. These are only some of the restaurants participating so be sure to check out what your favorite restaurants are offering.
