Lowcountry Life Tour: Cole-Heyward House Tour
Experience life in the past as you see how the Cole and Heyward families and their slaves and servants lived their daily lives on this historic property which includes an antebellum house, slave cabin, and summer kitchen. Discover the events that led to the destruction of all but 8 of the original Bluffton houses and see how the families, house, and town changed throughout history. This docent led tour engages the visitor as they stroll back in time to life in the lowcountry during the 1800s.
