It is a Historic Cultural Arts District that is now aperfect backdrop of gorgeous oak trees draped in spanish moss and scenic views, bringing together people from all walks of life, in the spirit of love, hope, and healing.
The Gullah Reunion Festival transcends many families across the nation because of the high percentage of all African American's ability to trace their roots back to South Carolina, We created this festival to help preserve and promote the gullah culture, as well as stimulate economic growth within this endangered community. Our hopes are to help people connect thousands of people back to their Gullah Geechee family, their ancestral roots, and/or to provide a cultural event for people who just simply love, and enjoy the Gullah culture.
