Introducing New Jet Service from Charlotte to Hilton Head Island Airport
American Airlines recently announced that flights coming into Hilton Head Airport (HHH) from Charlotte (CLT) will transition from its current 30-seat Dash-8 turboprop service to 76-seat Embraer 175 regional jet service. This means less travel time and more options for residents and visitors: a quick connection and a first-class service. Thanks to infrastructure improvements at HHH, the 5,000-foot runway extension makes the HHH a viable destination for regional jets. The new service begins July 5, 2018.
