The waters that surround Hilton Head Island and Bluffton are not only some of the most pristine and beautiful found anywhere, they are ideal for Hilton Head water sports and activities!
Active visitors can enjoy recreational activities both above and below the water’s surface. Those with an adventurous spirit can check out spectacular views of the Island from high above the water while parasailing, and those who want to explore the mysteries of the ocean can dive or snorkel with the Island Scuba Club. Waterskiing, jetskiing, windsurfing and surfing also are available for wind and water enthusiasts. Explore the shoreline by taking a personal watercraft for a tour around the island, or kayak the creeks and sounds coming in close contact with dolphins and other marine life.
The May River provides smooth water for Hilton Head Island water sports such as waterskiing and pleasure cruising, and a parasail trip above the Calibogue Sound will give you a birds' eye view of the activities at Harbour Town.
