Parks, Marinas & Other Venues
Not every great sports facility is man-made. Indeed, some of the best places to play were fashioned by Mother Nature herself. Twelve miles of sun-swept beach stretch out before you as the best excuse for a holiday. Nets can be placed, sections cordoned off, cheerleading stages built - a few synthetic extras and you've got yourself a setting where people will most definitely want to be.
The ultimate in flexibility, the waters around Hilton Head Island and Bluffton bend and wave their way into ten marinas, with capacities ranging from 85 slips to as many as 258. Just right for yachting and boat racing, these aquatic assets can facilitate fishing, sailing, kayaking, waterskiing, parasailing, wave runners, swimming and other water sports as well.
Also for consideration, wooded nature trails wind around the Island area and make cycling, horseback riding and even walking most delightful endeavors.
