If you're looking for a place to play or practice, visit the Island Recreation Center for field availability and equipment rental. From lacrosse to soccer, baseball to softball, the opportunities for field sports abound here.
If croquet, bocce or lawn bowling are your games, there are several private and public resorts that offer this amenity to guests. Please check with your resort for these options. And remember, the hard packed sands of Hilton Head Island's beaches always provide a new twist to lawn sports!
INDOOR SPORTS
If you're ready to head indoors after a day out in the sun, then turn to any one of the indoor sporting facilities that offer everything from bowling to basketball.
Most fitness centers offer visitors short term memberships, and in addition to state-of-the-art equipment may also offer racquetball courts. From indoor volleyball to basketball, visit the Island Recreation Center which provides indoor courts and equipment rentals.

Visitors who are looking for daily activities for their children during their vacation are in luck here on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton.
Summertime and holidays on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton provide a way for young sports enthusiasts or athletes to improve their skills and performance levels, as well as keep them entertained. BEACH SPORTS
Make your day at Hilton Head beaches even more exciting with some friendly competition.
Serve it up on one of the several volleyball courts along the beach, or explore 12 miles of beautiful Hilton Head beaches on a one, two or three-seated bike. Kite flying and bocce ball are other ways to spend your time under the sun. Specialty shops and rental companies along Hilton Head beaches offer equipment for most of these sports, if you didn't bring your own equipment from home.
