Team Building

On Hilton Head Island, your groups can participate in a range of team-building activities that vary in intensity from the invigorating to relaxing. Our Visitor & Convention Bureau is eager to help your group connect and bond, build trust and forge valuable relationships. We’d be happy to work with you to create an original or customized activity. Here are just a few team-building activities we’ve arranged in the past:

• Corporate Team Building – A mixture of picnic games and friendly competitions with a Lowcountry flare
• Executive Team Building – Programs that are designed to address real world issues through creative "Out of the Box" thinking
• Philanthropic Team Building – Using only a specific set of tools and materials, groups create functional products that are given to community members in need; see Hilton Head Difference program
• Dolphin watching, crabbing, horseback riding, parasailing, jet-ski rental, sunset cruises
• Golf tournaments and clinics – Most Hilton Head Island golf resorts feature PGA Certified professionals who are also available for group events
• Scavenger Hunts- Groups use trivia questions, strategic skills and problem solving in order to discover hidden clues around the Lowcountry.
• Page Island Excursions – Private island off the coast of Hilton Island where a group of naturalists provide outdoor team building opportunities (fishing, kayaking, etc.)
• Boat Races (kayaks, canoes, sail boats)
• Beach Olympics – Bocce ball, sand castle building, beach scrabble, etc.
• Orienteering – Exploring the area using maps and landmarks in order to solve problems
• Ropes Course – With a mixture of high and low elevated ropes challenges, groups participate in different team building scenarios such as mazes, broken bridges and trust falls
