Betsy Hinderliter

Born with a buttermilk biscuit in one hand & a May River oyster in the other, Betsy Hinderliter, is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. After winning her 3rd State Fair blue ribbon for apple pie at age 17, she hung up her apron, & traveled upstate to Clemson University before turning her talents to the advertising and marketing biz. After 20 years in the Lowcountry she begrudgingly left the salt marsh & sugar sand beaches with her new husband for the bright lights of Birmingham, AL where she is a full-time Mom & part-time freelance writer yearning for a permanent gig to get her family back "home" to SC.
