Things to See and Do on Daufuskie Island

With an outdoors as great as ours, it’s easy to get outside and explore on Daufuskie Island. Get a different view of the island with a guided kayak or paddleboard tour. Explore and get lost among the towering oak trees while experiencing the wind in your hair and the freedom of two-wheels on a cycling adventure. Or, take a nature and birding tour to get closer to the magnificent wildlife on the island. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s no shortage of activities to keep you occupied.

For families with children, the volunteer-run Daufuskie Island Community Farm offers hours of hands-on entertainment. Discover cows, goats, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and one duck that thinks he’s a chicken.

Daufuskie Island is also a haven for golfers. With one public course, Bloody Point, plus the Haig Point Club private course, you’ll find that spectacular distractions are just par for the course here.
