Welcome to the Golden Apple Program!

The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce believes that quality education is the fundamental building block of a strong community. For our area's children, our businesses and our quality of life, education is critical. Because our school personnel play such a vital role in the education process, the Business/Education Partnership Committee has compiled these perks generously donated by area member businesses.

This is just one small way the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and the entire business community can say "thank you" to them for working towards a better future for our children.

Participating Businesses

Rules & Regulations

Please adhere to the following rules to ensure the continued success of the program.

  • Your GAP decal ID is not transferable -please do not give it to any family members or friends to use.
  • "Eligible recipient" must be present when using ID; present it prior to making a purchase or an order.
  • Businesses have the right to ask for a driver's license as positive identification.
  • When scheduling an appointment, be sure to mention your GAP participation at that time.
  • Several "perks" have exceptions or exclusions - please do not ask to be an exception to the rule.
  • Be sure gratuities are calculated according to the total amount of your food bill, regardless of the balance after a discount. Our waiters and waitresses need to make a living too!
  • "Family" is defined as dependents (children) living with you; this excludes cousins, brothers, sisters, in-laws, etc.
  • If the eligible participant terminates his/her employment, the GAP ID must be returned to the school principal, and the Chamber must be notified.
  • All decal IDs will be issued through the principal's office; lost IDs will be replaced only upon the Chamber's receipt of a letter from the principal with an original signature.
  • The Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for debts incurred through use of the Golden Apple Program.
  • VIOLATORS WILL HAVE THEIR PRIVILEGES FORFEITED
